Concrete Coatings

Wisconsin Industrial Services & Equipment provides professional concrete coating systems for commercial, industrial, and residential facilities throughout Wisconsin. Our coating solutions protect concrete from wear, chemicals, moisture, and impact while improving appearance and ease of maintenance. From epoxy floor coatings to polyaspartic systems, we help property owners create durable, long-lasting floors built to withstand heavy use.

Polyaspartic, Polyurea, and Expoxy Coatings

We offer a variety of high-performance concrete coating systems designed to protect and enhance concrete surfaces in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. Epoxy coatings provide a durable, attractive, and chemical-resistant finish ideal for warehouses, garages, and retail spaces. Polyurea coatings offer superior flexibility, impact resistance, and rapid cure times, making them well suited for demanding environments and heavy traffic areas. Polyaspartic coatings deliver exceptional durability, UV stability, and fast installation, creating a long-lasting surface that resists abrasion, chemicals, and fading. Whether you’re looking to improve appearance, increase durability, or extend the life of your concrete, our coating systems provide reliable, long-term performance.

Concrete Chip Floors

Chip flooring is a durable and attractive concrete coating that combines decorative vinyl flakes with a high-performance polyurea base. The chips are applied to the base coat, and upon drying, are coated with a topical polyaspartic. There are many different colors to choose from. Just ask and we can let you know more information.

Clear Concrete Coatings

A clear polyaspartic topcoat provides exceptional protection and durability for concrete surfaces. Applied as a transparent finish, it creates a tough barrier that resists stains, chemicals, UV exposure, scratches, and everyday wear. A clear polyaspartic finish enhances the appearance of concrete while extending its lifespan and making it easier to clean and maintain.

FAQs

What are concrete coatings?

Concrete coatings are protective and decorative layers applied over concrete surfaces to improve durability, chemical resistance, appearance, and ease of maintenance. Common systems include epoxy, polyaspartic, and hybrid coating systems.

How long do concrete coatings last?

When properly installed and maintained, high-quality concrete coating systems can last 10–20 years or more, depending on traffic levels, exposure, and maintenance.

Are concrete coatings good for garages and industrial floors?

Yes. Concrete coatings are commonly used in garages, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and commercial spaces because they resist stains, chemicals, abrasion, and heavy traffic.

Do you need to prepare concrete before applying coatings?

Yes. Proper surface preparation is critical. You may see dramatically different prices when comparing coating contractors and this is most often because of the difference in how the contractors prepare the floor. Some contractors do very little to prepare the floor which leads to the coatings flaking or failing within a few years. To ensure the longest lasting and most durable coating, we mechanically grind the concrete to ensure proper adhesion, repair cracks and damage, and create a profile that allows the coating system to bond correctly.

Are coated floors slippery?

Most coating systems can be customized with slip-resistant additives to improve traction. This is especially common in garages, commercial kitchens, and industrial environments where safety is a priority.

How much do concrete coatings cost?

Between $6 and $12 per square foot. There are many different coatings that can be applied and each coating requires different levels of labor and cost of materials. Contact us and let us know your project details and we can help you decide what coating is right for you.
